I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
